The fruits can be fresh up to 12 days at a temperature of +2 to + 4 ° C and excellent transport to distant markets such as the EU and Russia. For fresh sale, the fruits are picked in 60% of the physiological phase of maturity directly into small containers or crates and as soon as they go to the market and in the sub-chamber.
Use of frozen fruit: Loch Ness is one of the best varieties of blackberry because it retains the black color when freezing, which makes it the best variety for industrial processing. When mature fruits are harvested, this percentage is negligible. The advantage is for cold stores because they do not have to freeze immediately after being pruned in the refrigerator because it can stand in the cold before the freezing.
